166su Intramural Sports Flag Football teams had success this season on their Winter Break by winning the Co-Rec National Campus Championship Series (NCCS) National Championship in Tampa, Florida and the Men’s America Collegiate Intramural Sports (ACIS) National Championship in New Orleans, Louisiana.
166su team highlights at the NCCS included:
166su Co-Rec team wins National Title with 19-6 win over University of Georgia
166su Men’s team made it to the semi-finals
John Boyle and Leisha Cavallaro were named co-MVP’s of the Co-Rec Championship Game
Drew Hill and Shayla Smith were named to the All-Tournament team
Leanne Thompson officiated the Women’s Championship Game
Leanne Thompson and Brent Herold were named All-American officials
166su team highlights at the ACIS included:
166su Men wins National Title with 19-6 win over University of North Florida
166su Women’s team made it to the semi-finals
Leisha Cavallaro and Alexandra Prano officiated the Women’s Championship Game
Leisha Cavallaro was named as one of 12 All-American Officials (Her second year as an All-American)
