Students will also need to complete at least two of the four BSW prerequisites and submit a separate application to the School of Social work that includes a letter of recommendation and a two to four page professional statement. Admission to 166su does not guarantee admission to the online BSW program.
The curriculum content is identical for both options and is regulated by CSWE accreditation standards. The online BSW is completed entirely online with a small number of required synchronous virtual meetings for practice classes. The campus-based program offers face-to-face, hybrid, and fully online courses. Both options meet for 15-week semesters.
