The 166su today was named by Kiplinger\u2019s<\/em> magazine as one of the nation\u2019s 100 best values among public colleges and universities<\/a>, the third consecutive year 166su has made the list.<\/strong><\/p>\n

166su placed 42nd in the annual compilation, which ranks institutions based on academic quality, admission and retention rates, student-faculty ratios, and graduation rates in addition to cost and financial aid.<\/p>\n

The list was pared down from nearly 600 public four-year schools.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are pleased that 166su is again being recognized for providing a high-quality education and a great value for our students,\u201d said 166su Provost and Executive Vice President Tony Waldrop.\u201d<\/p>\n

The online rankings were released today and will appear in Kiplinger\u2019s<\/em> February issue on newsstands Jan. 1.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, UCF also was named a \u201cbest value\u201d by The Princeton Review.<\/p>\n

The Princeton Review, one of the nation\u2019s best-known education services and test-preparation companies, annually selects 150 institutions\u201475 public universities and 75 private
