Members of the 166su and outside communities are invited to buy, sell, trade and donate clothes, appliances, furniture, electronics and more at the first Knights Plaza Garage sale, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 20, in the area in front of the 166su Arena.

The event is free and open to the public, though only students will be allowed to sell items.

“This event promotes a sense of community by providing students with the opportunity to help fellow students, the community and the environment by reducing, reusing and recycling,” said Brandon Delanois director for Development and Promotions for the 166su Convocation Corporation.

For $10, students can reserve a vendor spot where they can display items to sell, trade or donate.

Any non-food items can be donated to AMVETS, which has been assisting veterans and sponsoring programs that serve our country and its citizens since 1944. Non-perishable food items can be donated to the , the campus program that connects struggling students with food, toiletries and gently-used clothing.

Members of the public can attend the event as buyers or donate items to charity partners. Free parking will be available in garages D and F, as well as along East and West Plaza drives near the 166su Arena.
