Direct Support Organizations & Related Entities
166su’s seven direct support organizations (DSOs) and one related entity exist solely to benefit the 166su. They support fundraising, research, athletics, academic health activities, facility management, and public-private collaborations, all in line with 166su’s strategic goals.
Oversight of these organizations is vested in the 166su Board of Trustees and the Florida Board of Governors. University vice presidents, acting as CEOs according to each entity’s governing documents, supervise their operations. 166su’s DSOs and related entity are Florida not-for-profit, federally tax-exempt organizations. They are committed to providing equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, marital status, veteran status, or any other protected basis by law.
